To just download stuff, you don't have to set up your router.
If you want to share your files, then you must setup the Virtual Server Configuration on the router. (This allows Port Forwarding)
Set this up to match the configured port number in Shareaza.
(Tools - Shareaza Settings - Internet Connection - Inbound Address Port)
Remember to allow TCP and UDP!

You can set up Shareaza to use any port you wish. I strongly recommend that you do that as many script kiddies are scanning the default port which is 6346. Then just forward that port. See here for instructions:
