i don't get that. what make people think your friends are gonna be around forever anyway? it is possible for friendships to come apart. i am asking because i always hear that in tv shows and movies, just because you known your friend the longest doesn't mean they're gonna be by side forever, they may be the ones tryna tear you apart.

because you'll always have that friend or friends that are always going to be there for you and LOVE you for who you are.
also, these are the types of friends you don't grow apart from becaise you've known them so long.
they're always there for you, especially when you're significant other screws you around.
these friends are forever because even if you do loose touch, it wouldn;t be weird to call them once a year to chat, whereas if you tried to that with an ex it would be akward and/or they would probably be dating someone else...
i could go on and on, but basically it means, always keep your friends close, even if you're really involved with someone because they're always going to be the ones who are there for you...even if you develop a huge *** or saggy sand bags in your old age :)

Believe me, I've had a couple of "Best Friends" and they wound up being nothing but cruel to me in the end...and we are talking after 15 years of friendship....it all stems from jealousy and that's usually the clincher in ANY relationship....jealousy is a horrible, horrible emotion and I've dealt with it myself but not to the point where I have taken it out on someone and actually did a cruel act against them or their family....you can never be sure WITH ANYONE....not even family....we would like to believe that there are some people that will never let us down but sometimes, unfortunately this is not true...I always tell myself that in the end, I am all that I have!
Good Luck...just try your best throughout your life to see people as they really and truly are...not what you would "like" them to be.

when u have friends its very special cus u dont live together yet u can be there for each other if u have problems its easy to fix and move on
but when it comes to bf/gf issues u get closerto the person and share intimacy
the person gets to know u entire make up,ur strength and weaknes and dealing with each others emotions daily can be nerve racking .it have to be true love to over look ur minor differences or u will just walk out of it

u never know what will happen, but if u get lucky u will find that special friend like i have , who u will hold so close to ur heart u just know u he will never leave, i think y they say that is b/c most people like i hold their friend as if they were family, so they say boyfiorneds come and go, but friends(a.k.a family) are forever so the last thing u wanna do is piss them off, they will get to know u so much that they will find out ur deep darkest secrets, they can use them agianst u, friend are very vauble, so treat them w/ respect and dont take them for granted

True that one and usually they are the ones that try to go after your man or girl quicker than you believe. So my motto is bf/gfs and friends come and go but I'll always be true to myself. I know its selfish sounding, but when you put too much trust in others they always end up screwing you over in some way or the other. And at least with yourself, you know your faults.

well i think they say that because usually if you have good friends then they can be your friends forever and usually bfs/gfs dont last forever and you could look to your friends all the time and you cant always look to your bf/gf when you have a problem

actually i dont agree with that...yes bf.gf come and go but that has nothing to do with friends....it depends on ur personalitty and the way ppl change....whn it comes to friends life does suck...best advise for u is dont go trusting everyone...and dont call everyone ur friend....until they feel the same way abt u
