My husband and I got married in August 2002. Our first child came in May 2005 (and we had been ttc the ENTIRE time). We decided to try for another one at the end of April this year, so I stopped the b/c pills. A week and a half later we conceived, and our second is due January 24, 2007. We have made the decision that 2 is the perfect number, so we're done after this baby is born! Good luck, and if you are ttc, please remember that it's more fun if you don't think about making a baby as the end result (and actually I said "I give up trying" when we conceived our son, and a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant). Good luck, I hope this helps!

We were married six months when I had procedure and they said we better try then or may never have children. So 1 year and 6 months for our first. Honestly think it was too soon we dated 2 years before marriage then had a baby before our second anniversary and he was 6 months old. You need several years being married and seeing the other person as your partner before adding a child which totally changes your lifestyle. Friends of ours waited five years and they are absolutely the happiest couple I have ever seen. Give it time.

We were together for two years before getting married. We got married and traveled, had lots of fun and never worried about money. After being married for five years we had our first child. We bought a house and everything seemed to be great. Then when I was seven months pregnant with the second child he decided he didn't want all the responsibility so he left us. The moral of the story is that the length of time doesn't matter. It's all about the relationship itself and the people involved.

My husband and I were married for about a year and a month i think before we got pregnant, but it was a molar pregnancy, freak of nature, his little soldiers were a little eager and 2 sperm got into one egg!
Anywho, so i'm not pregnant anymore, we figure it's just not our time to be parents yet. We want to wait for about another 2 years and a bit, but i'm feeling it will be sooner, but whatever God has planned.
I would wait until you feel you have done everything together you want to! When i got pregnant i felt bad that we never went camping, or took a big vacation together! We are heartbroken we lost the baby, but feel it wasnt time and with that excited that we will be able to do those fun things!
I would wait until you both feel like it's the right time!

My husband and I lived together for 3 years before we were married. After we married we conceived our son 3 months later. Some people say to allow a year or so in order for you and your partner to get to know each other and have "you" time. Then have a child. however we did that during our living together relationship and now we are happy as can be with our new one!

My husband and I were married for 5 years before we started trying. It took a year to conceive, but we have a beautiful girl. We are ttc our second now. We were together for 3 years before we got married. We thought about having children right away, but I'm glad we waiting because we did it when were both ready and really wanted it.

Me and my husband had dated for about 6 years prior to getting married Feb 03. Our first daughter was born December 22, 2003. So she was technically a honeymoon baby. And our second girl is scheduled for C-Section tomorrow am (August 22nd, 2006). And I think I'm done after this!

We dated for 3 years. We were in our 30's when we got married. After 3 months of marriage we didn't want to waste any time. We became pregnant after shortly after that. We have a beautiful 2 year old and we are trying for another.

We dated a year before we had sex. Our first or second time ended up in a surprise pregnancy. We married during the pregnancy. So no waiting at all! It made the first year a bit harder, but I love them both very much and we made it work.
