Considering that the majority of ordinary people do not know who their ancestors were five generations back, it would not surprise me to find that there were African, Indian, Chinese, German, Australian and every other mixture during the past. Why on earth would it make any difference as it is highly unlikely that they or we could prove any relationship. In any event, we are all descendants of 'Eve' (not the Adam and Eve) the African lady who started it all. As long as they did not claim that I owed them any money I would not worry in the slightest..........

Well I would embrace them... I thought I was half Japanese, half Chinese up until the third grade or around there when I found out I'm a quarter white. Lol, but why would it make a difference?

hon, with todays culture you have to pray about that and look deep into your heart to answer that question. I would have to say embrace them for they bleed red blood just like you and they are family. It isn't like they are just any oh body off the streets, get to know them. And don't listen to anyone else but yourself. Ask yourself this "What would god do?" do you think he would turn his back or do you think he would love them and accept them?

I'm black and discovered that I have white family members, we got to know each other and are still talking. Their great, great, great grandfather with my great, great, great grandmother. Wanna know how we found each other? With the help of Yahoo.

All humans trace their roots to what is now "Africa." Evolution and mutations caused different traits in people's appearance. We're all one people. We are lost sheep trying to find our shepherd but unfortunately end up running into wolves.
