Whats so special about Texas? Grass will grow anywhere there's enough light, water, warmth and soil - and they don't need that much of any of those things as many other plants.

Water and heat is great for the bermuda grass that most people have here. This drought is really putting a crimp in people's budget if you want to keep your lawn green now.

LOL! Nothing appearently, we have lived here for 10 months and had actual rainy days 3 times.....we have to water every other day, to keep the lawn a puke or pea soup green color...good luck
