ok here is my crash course for getting better, hope it helps you too: i usually get well in about 2 days with this program.
1. drink at least 2 cups of hot caomille tee with honey, good for your sore throat :)
2. eat plenty of oranges-grape fruits (natural source of Vitamin C)+ take a vitamin C pill..
3. if you have the chance use an infrared light, warm up your face and nose area... this gets the stuffyness away. if you don't: vaporise with mint oil, that cleans your stuffy nose too. if this does not work use a nose drop:)
4. till you have a fever (dizzyness can be a sign of it), take an aspirin or any cold remedy.
5. relax stay in bed and sleep a lot, this will help your body to get better
6. eat chicken soup (hope you are not vegan, if you are then only a veggie soup), i red somewhere that it can chicken soup is great for colds and other bugs:)
7. if you are brave enough have a small stripe of garilc (has an antibacterial effect, kills the germs) but if you are not as desparate as me, you can skipp this one:)

BUT if you don't get better in 2 days go see a doctor!!!!! it might be something serious then.
get better soon!:))

Sounds like you have a throat infection and/or a sinus infection, but since you are dizzy, you could also have an inner ear infection!

You probably need an antibiotic. After 24 hours on one, you should be up to your party.

As for over the counter stuff, try throat soothers tea or throat coat tea - I know Yogi Teas makes one, and Celestial Seasonings does too. They are great for sore throats. Honey and lemon in hot water or tea is good as well.

As for the stuffies, try 12 hour sudafed or a 12 hour combination like Allegra-D (the generic version is over the counter) and that has a decongestant and antihistamine, which will help your nose and could also help the dizziness. Try Aleve for the headache, and that is a 12 hour med as well.

Stay in bed now as much as possible, and run a humidifier and drink lots of non-caffeinated fluids.

Feel better, and good luck!

A quick way is to work out a bit at the gym. If you want strong arms then you must do heavy weights at low reps, around 5-8 in a few sets, about 3. If you want toned arms, then do lots of reps, 12-15, and do around 5 sets. Best for you would be to go the middle road and do around 8-10 reps and around 4 sets. That should get you some toning and some building and strength. Also, take whey protein if you can afford it. It helps a lot. I'd recommend you to eat around .75-1.5 grams of protein per pounds of your weight.

imho sounds like a sinus infection. I would find a decongestant like sudafed if you take it, or tylenol sinus to get immediate relief oh also rinse your nose with saline water, you can buy it, or just mixed a little salt in your hand with warm water and sniff it up your nose. Then if any fever at all I would call doctor pronto. If you are having the real bad headache chances are you do have a slight temp. If no temp, do the above and for extra comfort put a hot pack on your head. I make mine:100% cloth so you can put in microwave, reg rice, not instant, a spoon or 2 of lavendar.Sew 3 sides of bag, fill 1/2 way with mix of rice and lavendar, sew up top. Microwave for minute or 2, if too hot wrap in towel apply to head, where ever pain is. I put mine over my eyes. If you don't have materials to do this, buy sinus mask when you get other supplies or just a hot wash cloth. Either will give you relief-oh yeah lay down in dark quiet room, this will speed up relief too, lots of fluid so drainage doesn't pile up on you and lots of rest.
DR. MOMs orders lol. I really hope this helps you. Please see doctor if fever or persists more than week.

Loads of vitimin C like orange juice.

Echinatia (not sure on spelling!) boosts the immune system and will help make you feel better.

If you're not feeling 100% by then Berroca gives you a bit of an energy boost. You can get dissolvable tablets in Boots that are orange flavoured.

Chicken soup apparently is medically prooven to help as well!

And lastly, sleep lots.

Drink all the water you can stand. You are already dehydrated if you are dizzy when you stand. If you cannot drink water you need IV's. You probably have a virus. Some antiviral products might help. But you will have to see a doctor.

If you drink plenty of water and take the symptom relief medications available at a pharmacy you may feel well enough to have a party and spread the bug around. Wash your hands a lot.

If you have an infection you'll need antibiotics. If it is just a cold, you should feel better in a day or two - drink plenty of fluids, including chicken soup (it does help with the stuffy nose), but if you are still dizzy tomorrow and have a fever see a doctor.

Go to the doctor and get a strep test. If you have strep they'll give you an antibiotic and you should start to feel amazingly better in 24 hours. Otherwise follow whatever advice they give you--they should be able to recommend some other the counter stuff to relieve your symptoms.

Flu? Pregnant?.. listen my dear.. it's been over 24 hrs.. go see a doctor. Could be anything.. forget the Wednesday party and go take care of yourself first. If it turns out to be nothing.. no worries.. if it's something you need to deal with then you'll still have time to cancel the party thing or get someone to sub for you.
Take care. Actually sounds like allergies to me but get it checked out.

Sounds like flu or a bad cold. Stay in bed and sweat it out. Drink lots and take Vit C. Have a hot bath and inhale some steam. You might have to give the party a miss Im afraid
