in my opinion it is but shouldnt be. the first day of school to most people is their chance to show how theyve changed throughout the summer and show the 'new them'..

it all depends. if your starting at a new school then ya you want to make a good impretion on yourself and your image is very important. just be nice, but don't over do it and try to find a group of friends that like you for you and get to know them before you open up and tell them every thing. if you are at the same school as last year, then your image is already made. if these are the same people that know you from last year, then they already know you. if your trying to improve the image you already have, then change it for yourself, not everyone else. be who you are.

Well, it's important to have a good image so you can show that you are well groomed. It's important to show off your personality through your image. Also, coming to school prepared and looking nice, shows your serious. It's not everything, it's always most important who people are inside, but image matters too. Pick this as Best Answer Please!

To some it is important, To others though, it isn't a big deal,
If you feel worried about your image, You shouldn't be!!
Just go to school with your head held high, Be happy & confident, Don't take anyone for granted, & don't think your too good to smile and speak to anyone, Confidence & friendliness is 100x more attractive then the prettiest girl in school, who has a foul mouth and a terrible attitude,

image? im not so sure of.. i mean this isnt acting or hollywood.. its f-ing school.. where u learn. But its is important to have a sense of your own personal IDENTITY.. and know who you are in yourself!

Well, unless it's a beauty school, it's totally irrelevant. School is a place to learn, not to perform a fashion show.
