i have owned numerous Palm products. the present became the Palm TX. i became very pleased with it (it became stolen a pair months in the past). It has a calendar for scheduling, an extremely particular deal with e book (telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, actual addresses, and room for most notes about the guy), a to-do record, and memos. It has wireless outfitted in, so when you're round a wireless community, you could connect with it. It also has a outfitted in media participant. The TX makes use of a stylus and also you write on the reveal with it. i imagine utilising a stylus or a keyboard is fairly a lot own selection. i encounter Palm products really ordinary to apply and straightforward to study. there is much and many application available for the Palm OS, too. an excellent type of it really is even loose. I ignore how a lot on-board memory it has, even with the undeniable fact that it has a slot for an SD card, so including some gigabytes of memory is ordinary and cheap. The battery truthfully lasts longer than my iPod. I in no way had it die on me, yet then, every time i became at my table, it became contained in the dock, so it became charging. After my Tx became stolen, I replaced it and my cellular telephone with a Blackberry Pearl. i love the Pearl, yet i imagine i love the TX's stylus extra constructive than the Pearl's keyboard. i have not neglected the wireless connection because the Pearl has an excellent internet browser outfitted into it. i imagine, even with the undeniable fact that, that i love the Palm TX extra constructive because i extremely cherished the Palm computer application over Microsoft Outlook.

I would contact Palm directly. I would strongly advise against trying to replace the battery on your own, as it is not easy, and can compromise your handheld.

You may also want to consider the purchase extended warranty from Palm for $50 for 2 additional years. Your unit must be brand new when purchased, otherwise Palm will not honor the warranty.

Here is the link for the Palm warranty:

I would advise to send the invoice immediately after you purchase the warranty so Palm can validate your purchase.
