Yeah, it kinda felt like it was a RAW PPV, considering that RAW had 4 out of a possible 7 matches at SummerSlam and also hearing more of good ol' J.R. and the King than any other announcers. Smackdown is coming down with nothing but bad lucks ever since Eddie pass away and they tried to make some decent matches but with no avail, as superstars were either leaving Smackdown or going down with injuries. They're trying to rebuild the brand with numerous call ups from Bobby Lashley, Ken Kennedy, and others, as well as getting pressured from moving to a new network, CW. ECW has barely started and it feels more like a WWE version (since WWE owned that brand) and lost some of it's homegrown touch that made them popular. They're trying to build that brand with old ECW stars like Sandman, RVD, and Sabu, as well as putting current or former WWE stars in matches like Kurt Angle and Test (along with appearances from Raw and Smackdown superstars). The brand isn't doing that well but management is still committed to bring the old ECW back w/ Heyman taking complete creative control.
Raw is the longest running WWE show in the industry and it continues to be that way with major superstars in major matches, as well as good gimmicks, so Vince decided to concentrate on that. It was a hard decision but this was Vince could do best.

Well, yes, Summerslam was a little like a RAW pay-per-view. The reason for that being is ever since Smackdown came on Fridays everyone is too busy to watch and RAW has more history to it. So, really Vince was doing the smarter thingby using his strongest brand as the anchor for Summerslam.

Smackdown has about 19 or less active wrestlers, between injury and the wellness program. So there isn't much to work with there at the moment. So basically they used the best they could, 4 out of 19 people reasonably, cant just pull a match out of your butt for summerslam just because smackdown has nothing going on at the moment.

Yeah, RAW had completely taken over Summerslam. I believe that it would been better for Smackdown if they had Taker vs. Khali last man standing match, it would of helped them but they didn't, so RAW took the cake on that one.

He completely forgot about Smackdown. If you must know Raw is Vince's baby and Smackdown is the ugly mutated clone that is constantly neglected.

properly in my view, i wish John Cena wins. He has been my fashionable because the day i began watching wrestling. And, i wish he keeps the WWE Championsip for see you later as he can. Randy Orton on the different hand, I did like him. Untill he took out Shawn Micheals and RVD. Then immediately he got here out in John Cena's tournament, and beat him up. So at present, he's not on my good record. And, im scared for John, not Randy.

I feel like any pay per view, with Raw and SD! combined, is a Raw pay per view.
