For instance, is it safe to do 100 or 200 sit ups a day after a year of your c-section?

You should be healed up by the 4-6 week mark, provided that all has gone well and there were no complications.

I would start slowly at first (100 may be a little much) and work your way up.

Good Luck!

You should ask your health care professional. After six weeks you are usually allowed to rejoin normal exercise using caution. If your incision hurts you need to stop whatever you are doing. There is a difference between fatigue and pain! Just slowly work your way up to a satisfactory level. You do not want to rupture your incision because then you'll need another surgery and may never regain your stomach strength.

Absolutely! You should get your dosc ok first, but I have had three (soon to be 4 sections) and I usually start the hard core stuff 5 weeks out.

After six weeks you should be able to resume normal activity in most cases.
A year after, it's fine to do as many sit ups as you want.

Ask your doctor...it'll depend on how you are healing, and how fit you were before you had the surgery....
