It's a biased opinion, but if the situation were an older man with a younger woman that always seems more acceptable for some strange reason. Only because usually there is a maturity gap between a young man and an older woman. Also, under 18 is always scary, but overall I believe age is just a number and if two people are in an honest/stable relationship age shouldn't be a limiting factor. So, no, nothing wrong I suppose.

Yes, it is WRONG at this time. 17 is still a minor. He cannot legally, do anything with you or for you. If you think you have friendship with this youngster, wait 1 to 4 more years. After he becomes an adult, without reservation, at AGE 21, there is nothing wrong with a 10 year age difference, as long it does not also involve the line-relationships of teacher and student in the same classroom, supervisor and employee on the same job, an attorney and his or her client or a close blood relationship.

Did you say date or rape? Cause I think you meant rape. Though the age of consent in some countries is much lower,
Laws aside, I'd have to say it depends on the emotional maturity of the 17 yr old. In most cases, and probably close to all, the boy is not even close to being able to handle the situation. I know that even at 21, most males I knew weren't able to handle anyone over 22. But who knows, this chap could be that needle in the haystack. But is it worth the risk to find out?
Then again, you only said see, you didn't say date or do anything else with them. So seeing is ok. More than that, see above.

I'd say it's wrong. For one of two reasons first is age. He's too young. Second why aren't you with an older guy or some one your own age? I know love is love but that much of an age diff is not good. I could see a 27 year old guy liking a 17 year old girl but reverse that? Man it just seems so wrong.

Well i have a 17 year old son and i would go mad as i think the woman is to old for him.He is just starting to live his life?like going out to pubs with his mates and she might have some kids of her own and some boys don,t like to be tied down when their young.

OMG yes!!!!! Infact when I was 17 I dated a 27 yr old and now with me being 26 now. I think to myself why the hell would a man or a women want ANYTHING to do with a child?????? Seriously!!!! They have NOTHING to offer! Wrong wrong wrong. Along with then being under age!!!

Very wrong! He's not even legal yet leave that child alone please. Cause I 'm more than sure that you wouldn't want someone your age dating your son or daughter if they where 17 yrs old. He's a kid for gods sake have some dang morals and find a man your age or at least one that's legal.

I don't think that it is wrong because age is nothing but a number. as long as he acts older than his age u go 4 it girl who knows he may b d guy u spend the rest of ur life with.

A little bit odd, yes. I mean, 17 just is incredibly young and not very mature -- unless the 27 yr. old woman is extremely immature, it just sounds a little creepy.

No i dont c a problem. Peoplemake a big issue about age, if ur in love honey follow ur heart honey if thats wat u want go 4 it. Dont sit around wonderin how life cud be wit him while u hav the chance to exxperience him 4 urself. GOOD LUC!!!
