ive never got this saying. i get red with anger coz red=fire and "feelin blue" coz blue is a sad colour but can someone explain "green with envy"

Apparently it comes from the Greek. The Greeks believed that jealousy was accompanied by an overproduction of bile, lending a pallid green cast to the victim. This was referenced in Greek literature and subsequently picked up by English writers, notably Shakespeare.

Envy's like a sickness, you're fixated and monster like. It's often called the green monster as well.

um No it skill saving ability and ability saving products that are sturdy for the earth and ecology. that is like replacing a old gas guzzling 1960's bus with a gas saving hybrid bus It has no longer something to do with envy in any respect
