Hi yes, i have a a wireless network on my lap top and desk top and if i am on my desktop i can go on a different website to whoever is on the internet on the lap top. We have 3 computer all with a wireless connection and we can all go on different sites and do dofferent stuff. That is thw whole point if it being wireless.

Yeah, thats the whole point of having a wireless network!! If for example tho, you run your wireless network through your desktop, like using it as a 'server', and set it up with internet sharing, when you turn your desktop off, your lappy wont be able to access the internet, although if you get a wireless router, and set your desktop and lappy up to access the net wirelessly through that, then it will make no difference. Your network will be configured differently depending on how you want to share things.

Yes but you will need a wireless router - you can get a wireless rotuer with modem so you can then share the connection.
