Hi, well for the first visit, they would do another pregnancy check, by urine, possibly even a blood test, and then they would sit down with you and figure out when your last period was, and use this little device, its kind of odd I think anyways, but its a circular paper thing, that they use to figure out how far along you are. I am not sure EXACTLY how they do it, but they use that. Then they would probley take your blood, to do some test on you, (to make sure you don't have any diseases, to see if your high risk) and then they would listen to the heart beat, if you were as far along as you have to be in order to hear it.
Then you go back once a month, I believe for the first 3-4 months, then its once every 2 weeks, for about another 3-4 months, then the last month you go once a week.
Good luck with everything, and congrats!! =)

First, they will probably draw blood to make sure you are pregnant. If the HCG numbers are low, they may have you take another in a few days to make sure they're rising properly. Then, they will take a medical history to see if you're at risk for any problems. They will most likely give you a goody bag filled with information and pre-natal vitamins.
They determine how far along you are by the first day of the last period you had. Although, if your periods were irregular or if your HCG levels are higher than expected, they may do further tests to find out how far along you are.
Congratulations!!

They are going to give you another test just to make sure you are pregnant. They will probably give you an exam and test you for STDs. The doctor will determine your due date based on the day of your last period. He or she will probably go over the stages of pregnancy and let you know where you are. They might go over nutrition with you and let you know what you should or should not be eating.

Ultra sound. You should know how far you are along. When was your last period? This should give a more or less date. With your first appointment you will have a better idea. Make sure to rest, take viatmins, and follow up with your doctor or clinic on a regular basis.
Good luck

My first appointment was fairly simple. The Dr. asked what the first day of my last period was and then gave me a due date. I had to have a pelvic exam and pap smear, they took a full family history and medical history. Took my blood pressure and weight, and then sent me for my inital blood work. They test for HIV, and all sorts of stuff. It is fairly basic, don't worry :)

you will get a packet of things
like pamphlets all about pregnancy, some prenatal vitamins usually for the first month, coupons for diapers and things like that
they might do blood work again, they did with me. and you will schedule the next appt.
the nurse will ask you alot of questions about when you last period was and health history. that is how they will estimate your due date. your first ultrasound will be soon, i believe and that will give a more accurate date.
congratulations

You have to take a urine test so they can test it themselves.
They really can't determine exactly what you are but usually a round about time frame. It is usually when you stopped getting your period.

they go by the date of your last period. it's a guess, but a pretty good one. they will check your blood pressure, your weight, your temperature, and probably an exam. no prob, really. trust me. the next appointments get even better.
