Just ask. Most girls will appreciate the straightforwardness and lack of cheesy lines or what not. Say something like "Would you like to go (to a movie, out for a bite, to such and such place) with me?". If she is at all interested then she'll say yes.

Just ask her if she'd like to have coffee with you, see a movie, or go out to lunch sometime. If she says no, at least you tried.
