Who thinks Carl Edwards was in the wrong at Saturday night's Busch Race, and who thinks Dale Jr started it? I personally think it was an accident what Jr. did... Carl would have done the same thing- he got loose and Jr got into the back of him. I just want to hear opinions thats all!

i think it was racing. i think carl would have done the same thing to win if the roles were reversed. i think carl messed up big time with his post race antics. he had a right to be mad, but not to handle it the way he did. as jr. pointed out carl did the same thing to him at atlanta i think it was. carl should have waited to an opportune moment to civilly talk to jr. not pull the crap he did.

carl's gee whiz persona is not living up to his actions. i think he has gotten a big head. so what if he isn't having the season he wants. you don't act like that. the crap he pulled at pocono and saturday aren't helping him get any support.

not a huge jr fan and not a carl edwards fan, but jr didn't do anything wrong in my book. carl just made himself look immature and stupid with the crap he pulled.

Carl got loose and slowed up, it has happened to everyone out there. At the end of the race don't expect someone to slow down and give up the race, just because you made a mistake. Although what Carl did after the race was over was completely unacceptable. What would be done if Jr. had lost his arm? Any retaliation after the checks have waved, should result in immediate 10 race suspension. I think that would get the point across. Drivers are not prepared for contact after they think the race is over. I hope nascar burns his ***!

I agree. Carl got loose and slowed up and Jr. got into the back of him. It's happen plenty of times in racing. It really wasn't Jr.'s fault, though Carl likes to think so. He's done the same thing to other drivers and they don't run into the side of him during a caution lap or confront him in victory lane.

I think how Carl handled it was very immature. First he goes off the track and sits in Jr.'s pit and waits for the cars to come back around then goes back onto the track and runs into the side of Jr's car. Jr is lucky Carl didn't take his hand off with that little stunt. And then confronting him in victory lane, that's a big no no in NASCAR. I'm sure the fine for his little temper tantrum will cost him dearly. I personally hope they make him sit out a race or two. Maybe that will give him sometime to cool off and realize he needs to grow up.

Three weeks ago same thing with Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon. Edwards was trying to hold Jr. off with a car that was not as good as Jr's. He got loose, which I suppose is kinda like drivin on ice i.e., you slip so you let off the gas, which in turn Jr bumps him. I mean come on if you're going 180+ miles an hour and the car in front of you lets off, even a little, there's very little margin for error here and Edwards knows it. He did, however, apologize Sunday but I have to wonder if that was more for the sake of the penalties due out any time now.

It wasn't Junior's fault. Carl just got loose & Junior had no where to go. What Carl did after the race was wrong. When Carl hit Junior's car to show he wasn't happy, Junior's hand almost got cut off! And then Carl goes to victory lane! Junior won, so I don't know why Carl went there. I thought Carl was going to start a fight with Junior or something. Good thing the officials got in there. What the heck did Carl think he was doing?? I hope NASCAR gives Carl a big penalty, he deserves it!

Dale Jr. did what he was supposed to do!!! He was trying to win a race, not like carl would have been content to sit back and let someone else win if he were in Dale Jr.'s place. Carl got loose, and Jr. had no where to go, he won and that's awesome! What carl did afterwards he should have his head kicked in for... he could have cut Junebug's arm off, and him going to victory lane was completely stupid. Dale Jr. did awesome and I'm proud of him!

The incident on the race track wasn't anybody's 'fault'. It was the result of good hard racing amongst the three drivers. Carl ended up getting loose and given the fact that they were racing for the win, Jr wasn't going to back out. Good hard racing isn't against the rules, thus nobody did anything wrong.

What Carl did after the race when he shot off of pit road was pretty stupid. He will received fines and point reductions from NASCAR for that bonehead move.

I don't think it was Dale Jr's fault. It was an accident, but Carl Edwards had no right to smash into Dale jr's car after he came down pit road. Also i am suprised to hear the Boo's when Dale was in the winners circle after he got out of the car.

I don't think Edwards was wrong to be mad. Junior was just racing, but of course Edwards would be mad anyway. I do think he was wrong to bang into Junior's car while his arm was hanging out--that was *deliberate*, and it could have turned Junior into an amputee!!!! It was also wrong for him to go to Victory Lane. Edwards has really been a loose cannon lately, what with this and his talk of how he'd leave Smoke bleeding on the track if he didn't love the sport so much. I am not liking him at *all*.
