can it harm the baby

You shouldn't. As long as her and the baby are healthy you can continue up until labor & delivery! Also, make sure to tell her she is beautiful! If you don't make her feel uncomfortable about her body you might have the best sex you ever had since pregnant women have levels of hormones that can sometimes make them more sexually driven.

Have fun & Congratulations!

You can continue to make love your wife through out the entire pregnancy.... That is... if it is comfortable to her. You can not harm the baby... In some cases towards the end of the the pregnancy the doc may recommend sex to help the labor process.

The only reason to stop would be if her obstetrician indicated it was necessary. In fact, studies show that continuing to have sex (with the father of the baby) is good for her health, and perhaps the baby's too!!! The only contraindication would be not to have sex once the amniotic sac has ruptured, because you could introduce infection. Some women swear by sex during labor, and in some cases, once it has begun, it can be helpful due to the prostaglandins contained in your semen. (These help to ripen and soften the cervix, causing easier dilation.) If it is nowhere on her mind early in labor, I wouldn't recommend trying it! She just might hurt you!!! lol

I have to agree with Nunya. I thought I was going to break my husband in two during the fourth month of my pregnancy. I was on him all the time.

As to your question, I can not speak to your specific situation. However, at the end of my pregnancy, my doctor recommended it. She told me that I had passed the 38 week mark. She said if I wanted to have the babies that I should go home and jump my husband. I did. The next day I was back to have my babies.

You can have sex while pregnant up until the day of birth...unless directed by the doctor. Unless there are complications w/ the pregnancy it will not harm the baby at all.

My girlfriend and her husband did it at least into the eighth month of her pregnancy and everything came out fine. (This was 20 years ago, and the proof not only exists, but has children of her own). Just confirm that there are no complications in the last trimester and I don't see a problem with that.

As long as your wife is comfortable, you can make love to her all throughout the pregnancy. Of course, ask your doctor because there could be certain details of her pregnancy which would make your doctor advise against making love, but as long as she has a normal pregnancy, its fine. Some sources even say it's healthy. But like I said, before you decide to take my word for it, ASK YOUR DOCTOR!

No need to stop having intercourse with your wife unless there are complications, at which point her ob/gyn would advise her to avoid it. It is not harmful to the baby.

Her doctor could've told y'all the answer to this...but no, you don't need to stop unless it's too uncomfortable for her...you're not going to harm the fetus and many women are able and do have sex up until time to deliver...

...the deciding factors are does she want to, and can she find a comfortable position to have sex with you...
