Did you remove the dust before you turned it on?
Clean the dust from outside the case AND inside (dust conducts electricity and will sometimes cause a short in the system.)

ha, not surprising. the inside is probably pretty dusty. you're better off installing a piece of garbage than running win 95.

actually no matter how old it is, you can still format it and install windwos millenium, its a very fast and stable operating system. you can try xp but it will be slow for sure, get millenium and use it
