My bunny, I think is in my backyard, but I cannot catch it because it is too fast.

My friend had an outdoor bunny who would sometimes get out. When he did, they'd all get together and chase him around the backyard until one of them caught him. I don't really suggest doing that, as it takes a long time and is tireing (not to mention stressful for the rabbit), but it usually works. Just leaving a carrot or a bowl of lettuce outside won't work all that well either. Why should he want to eat boring old lettuce when he's got an entire lawn to graze in? Maybe if you left out a favorite food, he would come. My rabbit has an obsession with bananas. She lives inside, but I know that if she got outside, just leaving a banana out would make her come. Really, I'd suggest getting a large peice of fabric, like a sheet or something, and trying to throw it over it, which should slow it down somewhat, and then picking it up. Good luck.

Getone of those bunny traps (the kind that don't hurt bunnys)and throw some vearrots and celery and other green vegies. Then u have to wait a couple days. When the vegies look gross then take them out and put in fresh ones.

don`t chase it. i had the same problem with my bunny i use to let her free out side till she started going over to the nieghbours.

i had to wait for her to come back, set out some lettuce or carrots in a cat carrier, and wait for her to go in then shut the door behind her.

thats how i caught my rabbit, now i have two cages one in the house and one outside for her.

at night i let her run free in the house so she can run and strecth her little legs.

remember not to chase her because she will run farther away and be harder to catch.

hope this helps.

When I was a kid my family had a bunch of rabbits. And every so often one maybe even two would get out. Put a buch of lettuce, carrots, apples etc. in a corner of your yard or something where you know that you can catch it. then get a box or laundry basket and cover it really fast with it. good luck! I hope I helped you and you get your rabbit back. =)

Well if you kept it in the house you liekly wouldn't have this problem. You can rent humane traps at the humane society for a couple of days. You should put something very iteresting in there to attract the bun. But good luck he will either dehydrate or get eaten by something.

Buy a new one dont waste ur time trying to get back a pet who doesnt want its owner... Domestic bunnies dont run that fast. Well buy a new one.
