Whats the matter with people these days, they either cannot last the distance or they have no life in them anymore?
We all used to stay up until dawn and then go to work and still put in a good days work although we had partied all night, where have they all gone?

Good on you for having a party and wanting it to go on!! If I was there I'd have kept going. You of course must be able to do your job the next day as you clearly stated, but it does no harm to let loose now and again - remind your friends of this in a nice way. Don't listen to the folk saying grow up - they've got a poker inserted in a tender place!

well most people now feel that they need to do well on their jobs.
Most of the all night er party's were in college where the lack of sleep and hang over didn't matter quite as much as the real world. But now when people are in the real world and have jobs, they need sleep and need to stay sober.

Times have changed.. OF course, as one (couples) get older, they do not stay out late.. and... yes. AND with our stupid (sometimes stupid) laws about drinking, I would be afraid to go to a party and drink because in today's world where the police have total control, I can have ONE BEER and be considered ...counted as DRUNK by those idiots..... Their desire for money is so great that it makes partying not a fun thing.

Don't you just hate the end of a good evening, I do to. What I do is have a drink, add some good dance music and dance around in the nude. Free and no one can say a word, make sure the blinds are closed.
