I live in the North East corner of Scotland & it is neither totally sea-side or woodland.
Scotland is not big enough to really be able to be either. You really have to be both. The sea & trees/hills etc are only a very small distance apart.

I am a "woodlander" & if given a choice to live by the sea or stay a "woodlander" I would probably remain a "woodlander".
However I would like to live a little, tiny, bit closer to the sea though... It is a quite a decent/long drive for us to get to the sea! Last time I saw it I was still a kid! My husband & children haven't YET been to the sea....(we'll have to fix that someday)
I find the sea to be very amazing & beautiful but prefer to visit & not live beside it. God created great wonders & beauty in all of nature, the diverce & amazing woods, plants, flowers, fields,...ect.
The sea/ocean is an amazing display of the power of God & amazing creativity & love he put into making this place beautiful for his Creation.. & not only is it beautiful but it all serves a purpose! Isn't God GREAT!!!!
GOD BLESS

I am definitely 100% a woodlander - i would avoid it because of rising sea levels in the future and the tourism side of it. I've lived near the sea before but I've never had a close bond with the sea if u know what i mean. Some ppl do know.

Not sure what you mean by woodlands not forests, but I'm torn between needing to be near lots of trees and loving the sea. My ideal would be a wood on a cliff overlooking the sea, but either is good!

I live only a mile from the Sea in a small coastal Town in Kent .
It is very rarely that I ever go down to the Seafront .
I do not mind where I live Town or country .
If I can I like to live where there is peace and quiet an d no
Crime or unsocial behavior.

A woodlot by the sea would be OK, but I'd prefer a woodlot on a mountain (or hill) that looks right down onto the nearby sea, so that way I have a view as well as a nearby sea to swim in.

I adore the ocean but I live inland and my nearest seaside resort is Blackpool, sorry but not my idea of a heavenly beach place to live, I would just love to live by the ocean, somewhere beautiful like the Caribbean were there are those beautiful turquoise waters that are bath tub warm and that amazing white sand that feels like talcum powder between you toes, I would go this minuet if I could, bliss.

I'd be a sea-side dweller. I love the sea, dunno why. I think that in a past life (not that I strictly believe in that kinda thing, you understand) I must have been a mariner or something because I just feel at ease with the ocean and lapping waves. Some kind of affinity, I guess!

I live lakefront and look across at woods on the other side. I would love to live on the oceanfront as I have spent plenty of time at the beach but it would be too expensive for my budget. I am very content where I am at though and I can always go visit the ocean.

I'm so lucky - I have both. i live less than a mile from the sea in a very green part of Scotland. If I had to choose, it'd be the sea. I love it and all it's different moods
