I have the exact same problem. I find night driving almost impossible as all the lights just kinda merge. And if I have my photo taken, all i can see for the next TEN minutes, is the flash. I have no idea what to do, and none of my doctors seem to be able to help me in any way either.

sounds like you need to have this checked out by an eye speciliast. when driving in daylight you can wear sun glasses to help the glare and light.

I have to maintain protective eye wear every daylight hour!
My shades are all different colors for the conditions.

I actually use colored lens in my home for computer and text reading. This is a personal choice, it works for me.
I wear yellow lens at night to drive, the headlights are piercing to me. The same kinda glasses used for police or marksmen for shooting accuracy.

Its a joke to my family, but you know.. I'm not in pain and the eye doctor said its okay. So why not!

i have the same problem. after speaking to my doctor about it, all he could say was that my contacts didnt help and take tylenol for those horrible headaches that the sensitivity causes. but, after a while, tylenol just doesnt cut it. and wearing my glasses dont help much. i try to wear sunglasses to minimize the affects. i assume you are a light in color, as mine are. if not, then i think you might have a more serious problem. but if your like me, theres not much you can do to fix the problem. at least, thats what my eye doctor says. but hes just one opinion.

I suggest you ask an optometrist about this. All I can recommend in the meantime is to wear sunglasses very often, and make sure they have UV protection.

ppl with very light eye colors have also very sensitive eyes. I have that problem too. I go and have my eyes checked every year, but there is nothing wrong with them. So I just wear very dark shade and my car has very dark tint on it.
