Hi,
You can use the Task Manager. To open that program right click on the taskbar at the very bottom of the screen and select Task Manager.
Then select users tab to see who is using the PC.
Check for adware too.

First check your user accounts to see if additional account has been set up. Also check by using the ctrl-alt-delete, click user accounts and look to see who is logging in that way. It is also very possible that you have spyware or adware on your computer. It is essential that you have a good antivirus program. There are a number of programs, Norton, AVG, webroot, etc. Some are free, some not. Also there are some programs like ad aware, spybot s&d, spysweeper that help keep malicious programs from attacking your computer. The key is to keep them updated. Change your password about every six months ( I woiuld do this immediately). There is also another glitch I have seen is that when you shut down your computer, it shows that other users are logged on at this time, do you wish to shut them down also. This is a flaw that happened with microsoft update for net framework 1.1. It can be resolved by removing the netframework 1.1 update and going to user accounts and deleteing the net framework 1.1 account it creates. (See microsoft help tips for exact instructions). Below are some webistes that can help. I do know that AVG, Ad aware, spybot S&D are free for home users.

My first questions 2 u would be if you have virus protection software installed on your computer...if you don't, my first guess would be that you have a virus. This is very dangerous bc viruses can access your personal files and information, and can be devastating to your computer.
Hope this helps...
Good Luck
