What he did was assualt and the lowest form of discriminiation in my book. You have every right feeling offended. You should have reported the mongrel to security, police or the bar staff.
Guys like that give decent men a bad name.

You're not being oversensitive at all. It's disgusting that our society has conditioned us to believe that women are overreacting if we object to inappropriate behavior. It's not okay - he WAS encroaching in your space!
I hear from a lot of people, "It's okay - he's just drunk!" or "It's okay - he's just old!" But no, it's not okay, and it's never okay for a person to sexually harass another (which is what that is, however mild a form).
If a guy wants to get your attention, and he's a person worthy of your time, he'll be the one who touches your arm or approaches you and speaks to you like a civil person!

No you are not being overly sensitive. You have the right to be out in a public place without receiving unwanted touches. I hate it when guys try to cop a feel. That is so juvenile and tasteless. I get male attention but I don't welcome that kind of attention. A real man would speak to you and express his interest verbally or at the very least give you an appreciative stare.

Well here's the thing with me; if a guy pinches my bum, and he's cute, I end up liking him and his bad boy behavior. If a guy pinches my bum and he's not cute, I get outraged because I don't know what makes him think he can get away with that. If a guy pinches my bum and he's old and feeble, I just say "silly old man," and go about my business.
So I'm guessing the guy who pinched your bum was not cute. In which case you have every right to feel offended. Only cute guys can do that!

That's not being overly sensitive. You have respect for your body and if a complete stranger touches any part of your body, especially and intimate part, that's pretty scary and intimidating. Not to mention against the law. If a guy did that at work, then you could sue and he would lose his job if you won the case. I'd say your reaction was a perfectly normal one.

you are not being over sensitive at all, your body is your temple and offcourse it is normal to feel harrased or mistreated when some stranger touches you inappriately. Since you were in a pub you have to understand the influence of alcohol. Just be careful and watch your behind (Literally)

nicely, nicely. i think of the two she had an ungainly or chuffed adventure that day, or she's have been given a weigh down on you! in case you have sat next to her earlier and she or he acted well-known, than it rather is a demonstration that it replaced into in basic terms some thing that befell that day, or the day earlier, or although. If it rather is befell once you take a seat close to her each and all of the time, then yeah, she likes ya! in case you like to renowned as we communicate, than in basic terms ask her. i think of that's the terrific thank you to make certain. If she in basic terms blushes and walks away once you ask, then it rather is seen a definite. If she says no and provides an accusing, taken aback, or perplexed stare, then it rather is a real no. If she says no like, "Whoa, the place did this come from?"-seems down, or faraway from you/your eyes-"of direction i do no longer!" -laughs awkwardly- "you're extraordinary/stupid/different teasing insult" than she's the two in denial, or attempting to fool you.

Learn to have a quick reflex and hit the oaf in the face hard. Just kidding, but I'm sure you felt like it. You were right to be offended. If it happens again try embarrassing the oaf (he probably is too much of a low life to be embarrassed) by loudly telling him not to do that.

No, you're not being too sensitive...I don't much care for a strange man to be touching me anywhere, but in that kind of environment, you can't get upset, cause he was probably just drunk not thinking he would offend you. To me, it's just a trashy way to let someone know you think they're cute.
