Pramface is modern and British and although it is performed as a one woman show, it does include two characters so with a little editing it could work.

Again, not British, but try The Queen and The Rebels, which has a whole act with dialogue for two actresses (age not specified).
Or try some of the dialogue between the two female roles in In Camera by Sartre ("Hell is other people). I used it for my Theatre Studies A-level and got an A - I reckon its a lucky play (apart from for the characters, obviously...)

Not modern or British but "The Maids" by Jean Genet has some brilliant stuff in it for 2 actresses in their 20s.

"The Children's Hour" by Lillian Hellman.
It's about two women who run a school for girls, who get accused (falsely) by a student of having a lesbian affair.
There is a wonderful, dramatic scene at the very end between the two main characters.
