i satyed in my other halfs house last night and there were things in the night that spooked me out, i want to try and find out the history of the site that their house is built on, on the history and details of who lived theire previsouly, the hous is about 100 yrs old

Ask some of the elderly people in the neighborhood. They usually know what families owned or occupied the homes in the past, and like to tell the stories to those who have the time to listen. If the first one you ask doesn't know, keep trying, and ask if they know someone who WOULD know. If you are patient, you can find what you're looking for.
Perhaps you are one of those sensitive people who can sense things that other people don't notice.

Fernhil Road in... where... Sheffield? Belfast? Oswestry? Abu Dhabi? Christchurch, New Zealand???? Local paper archives in your local library probably the best bet....
