I took some Extra Strength Excedrin this morning for my cramps and it made them go away! I never would have thought of taking Excedrin for cramps but it was all I had at the time. Has anyone else ever found this to be true?

I can see that this works seeing how it is a stronger pain medication. I use Aleve for this too when i have nothing else to take for the cramps. Does not seem weird to me for it to work.

Danielle minimized the danger of this attempt. Acetomenophin poisoning is the #1 cause of suicide in England, where guns are not easily available, and both of the drugs are acetomenophin. It causes a dramatic increase in acetylcholine, which kills the liver, leading to a slow, miserable, painful death. All Americans need to know how dangerous an overdose of tylenol is, AND - ASKER - CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY Edit: Just looked up Tylenol Extra and Excedrin Migraine. Tylenol Extra has 500 mg of acetomenophin, which is 2 1/2 times as much as the normal 200 mg pill; Excedrin Migraine has 250 mg. This asker is in danger. ASKER - if you are monitoring this call 911

Excedrine is the same as asprin, but with the addition of caffiene. Therefore, you may be feeling the results of the anti-inflammatory properties of the asprin. Excedrine is commonly known for treating headaches because caffiene has an effect on our blood vessles which changes the pressure in them. Highly effective for headaches...maybe not so much for the cramps?

Try calcium-magnesium-zinc pills 3 times a day with meals. This often helps relieve cramps.
