no such thing as an emergency divorce.

Get yourself and attorney and file....a petition for temporary relief and dissolution of marriage.

maybe you're thinking of an emergency order of protection...you fill out the paperwork at the county clerks office and have a judge sign it ....sheriff serves it on your spouse...

Is there children or property involved?
Some States you can get an uncontested divorce in as short a time as 30 days.

leave the person when they don't expect it. find yourself a new place FAR AWAY from the spouse. Hire a lawyer and get a restraining order. Thats the easiest way...
