It also does this for a few other websites as well such as www.aol.com. I have restarted my computer, I've deleted my cookies, I returned to default internet settings and nothing has corrected this problem. The computer was completely fine the last time I used it.

you more than likel have wither a virus or spyware. You will need to purchase either a program like NOrton Internet Security to keep it from happening again, or you will want to download a program like LavaSoft's AdAware SE personal edition. You can get it for free from download.com and then update it, this should find all of the adware and spyware on your computer, but you will still need to get something to protect yourself from it happening again.

do a little spysweep on your machine and virus checking.

(grab the items on www.cnet.com) if nessesary.

you may've hit on something that's on your machine now that changed the settings in your browser.

try that first, also check your temp folders in your browser.

check to see if anything new is running when you press control, alt, delete and bring up that task manager and look at the 'prosesses' and 'applications' panels... anything new try to look for it on your machine manually or through 'search' via your start menu.... then jot those things down and search them in google.com and see what they are if they're anything to question.

if that don't work get someone who can fix the problem for you.

either a professional (for a small fee) or a friend who won't mess your machine up more.

Maybe there's a virus in your system or bug or Trojan. Try to find the virus by scanning your computer. If that doesn't work, maybe the security system is down.
