i would most likely just put the relationship on hold until the next time you come home then talk it over with him then

Depends on what kind of person you are. When I went to college, I was in a relationship and stayed that way for the first year and a half. It was pretty easy to be faithful, in part because I didn't really party. But, I think being in a relationship really limited me socially, so I would definitely go back and change it so I wasn't in a relationship for my freshman year because there are so many amazing (and cute) people to meet.

Well first of all leaving for college ruined the relationship I was in at the time. She didn't want to do long distance and I understand that.
However I am at an engineering college so it looks like I'll be single for a while! lol
So yeah I have crushes on the girls I see at school but they're already taken....

it really depends on how you adjust to college life, how far away you have moved from someone, and how much you focus on the people you meet at college.
most of the time, old relationships end and you begin new ones in college though. but like i said, this all depends on you and the people you meet, and also the strength of the relationship that you are in.

Long distant relationships are usually hard. Usually one person or the other or both find other friends at college, and then without them noticing they are suddenly more than friends. Write letter on the internet when you can. The main goal now is to get your degree so that you can enter the work force. Good luck

I don't think most relationships last when one or both are away from each other at college.
It is time to move on, experiment, and figure out who YOU really are, and what YOU want from a relationship. If what you currently have is true, you will come back to each other.

A friend of mine left her hometown for college, but not before she met "the love of her life." She ended up dropping out and coming back to him. She is a janitor now. He left her for another woman when she was 6 months pregnant with twins. Go to college and get on with your life, LOL!
