Its a question of analysin history, gal. See, for so many eras and centuries we have been fighting wars. First with our hands, then with tools, then with weapons, then with machines... so and so forth... but no has come such a crucial time dat if we go in for another war... let it be between even devlopin countries we will resort to nuclear warfare which means the end of the world as we know it 2 be. therefore we refrain from fighting. man is essentially a war monger and since he can no longer vent out his anger thru war, he naturally siphons it off by crime and terrorism.

Everyone wants to mind their own business and nobody wants to confront criminals. We have been conditioned into being passive people. Thus when criminals do their dirty work, we immediately respond by cowering or looking the other way.

We are often told that money, jewelry, and other posessions are not worth risking our lives for, which is true, however, sometimes it is a matter of priniciple. When someone pulls out a gun the first thing we want to do is give them everything we have without even finding out what it is that the criminal wants.

Drugs are an easy way to make a lot of money and kids are turning to selling drugs as a way to obtain expensive items that just didn't exsist 20 yrs. ago. It's a shame what this country is coming to.

It's many things. Our world is obsessed with beauty, sex, getting over: abuse with women and children continue greatly, there's lots of apathy. Many find money to be more important; than our earth's environment and good will for all humans, animals in the world. The list can go on, and on, and on, and on!
