While I don't believe in the Curse. I don't believe in Shawn Alexander this season. He had a monster year and it will be hard to produce numbers as good or better than last year's results. With the loss of Steve Hutchinson (Vikings) that leaves Walter Jones (Madden 2007 best rated player for the Seahawks and an all-pro takle) and I don't think he can carry the offensive load. I do suggest taking one of the top 3 running backs (Larry Johnson, Shawn Alexander, or Ladanian Tomlinson) first. I would take Tomlinson over Alexander. Then go quarterback. Try for a big 3 quarterback (Brady, Manning, or Palmer) if not that position is wide open. Good luck this season.

properly, it truly is kinda extraordinary do not you imagine? '01: Eddie George followed up via having a nasty season, and him and the Titans finished third interior the branch and missed the playoffs '02: Culpepper were given injured, had terrible numbers, and the Vikes had their worst record considering 1986 '03: Marshall Faulk battles injuries, and terrible numbers in his following season, the Rams omit the playoffs, and Faulk has his worst season considering 'ninety six '04: Mike Vick breaks his leg an afternoon after Madden'04 is going onto the cabinets. The Falcons flow on to win a whopping 5 video games and end almost lifeless very last '05: Ray Lewis particularly a lot broke the curse.....till he broke his hand and missed one or 2 video games. The Ravens did not do too poorly, they made the playoffs.....yet Lewis nevertheless were given injured, it became also the purely season he did not record an INT in his occupation '06: Donovan McNabb unearths out why he's not a protective participant even as he receives flattened via a Cowboys protective lineman after throwing a %.. he's out for some weeks, and the Eagles flow from the great Bowl to lacking the playoffs. '07: Shaun Alexander breaks his foot and is sidelined for no less than some weeks, no signal yet on the way it truly is going to impression the Seahawk's season. Will it take position next 12 months? Who is conscious, even if it truly is type of an eerie coincidence do not you imagine? I mean 7 years in a row?

Look at the past few players that were on the cover. They all had bad years or an injury or both. Stay away from Alexander!! If LJ goes first then I would pick LT with #2. Unless you can trade the pick. The curse lives!! Don't draft Alexander!

Jamal Lewis: Madden 2005 (played only half the season)
Donovan McNabb: Madden 2006 (groin injury, TO problems)
Shaun Alexander: Madden 2007 (next to bite the dust)

Take Tomlinson if he is available over Alexander.
The other curse to be aware of, is the last 5 superbowl losing teams failed to make the playoffs the following year. So Seattle may have a down year...if you believe in that sort of thing.

There is no such thing as a curse. If you like Alexander, you cant go wrong by taking him. If you are really worried about it, you still have a choice between who is left of the big three.

i believe in the curse...but i'd take him anyways. even he does have a bad year,it'd probably still be better than most running backs. consider taking Tomlinson instead
