i am part chinese but you will not get this answer by any other chinese person
well in terms of everything like medicine,chinese believe that we are all perfect but imbalanced so for a chinese doctor its not kill virus or whatever its restore balance in the body
this is same in feng shui, well every year the grand duke of jupiter (a feng shui thing) comes from an area (north,south,west,east)this means imbalance so to balance it you must put a pi yau (i think) to that corner to restore balance oh yeah feng shui means wind and water

Where things in your house have to face certain directions. North south etc.. Makes the room have a good aura or something. Ex.Your bed should face the door
