I have to agree with that SummerSlam didn't meet my expectation but if I had to choose two from the night, it would have to be the I Quit match and the DX-McMahon match. The I Quit match really surprise me after what happened at Vengence. I expected to go more hardcore than the last match, but I never thought it would get as bloody as this. If you want to talk about standards, man oh man they brought all the stops in this match, with weapons and thumbtacks all over the place with pool of blood from Flair and Foley. The I Quit matches in recent history was also funny, especially when Flair told Foley to "kiss my a**". The paramedic and Melina stopping the match was also surprising to me because it gave Flair a chance to go beyond dirty in this match and that's what I like.
DX vs. the McMahons brought some expectency from the Spirit Squad and Umaga but I never expect Smackdown and ECW to get involved in this, but Vince said unlimited resources. Sure, I hated the McMahons taking the early advantage because they suck at wrestling as you can see, but hey, it's an advantage taken. I like the wicked ending when HBK gave the Sweet Chin to Shane midway thru the coast-to-coast (awesome move of the night) and DX prevail thanks to Kane.

Well, DX vs McMahons, their asses were handed over to them DX style. Yes there were horrible matches in Summerslam 2006 with horrible endings.. WWE sucks lately and the storylines.. Please dont get me started on them..

2 favorates are the 1st real cage experience I considered with Dusty Rhodes and Lex Luger for the NWA (now WWE) US call. and Ric flair vs Terry Funk with Gary Hart in Funker's corner. The experience led to a draw whilst Muta and Sting interfered.

only the DX match was outasite. i would give it two thumbs up. and the ric flair-mic foley match wasnt that boring. so was the sabu-big show match.
the rest of the matches really didnt meet the expectations
