I live in Dayton, OH

With a TV and no cable contract, can I receive (= watch) some free TV channels?
If yes, which ones?

Is FOX free to receive?

Thanks!

We received PBS, NBC, CBS, ABC and sometimes FOX. It depends on the strength of the signal where you are and the type of antenna you use. Get a good antenna and you'll get much better reception.

Legally you can get anything within broadcast range. Like anyone in Chicago within broadcast range of the Sears tower can get Cbs, Nbc, Fox, Wpix, Pbs, etc.. but homes outside broadcast range my any get a couple of these channels. There are alternative means of getting satellite stations, but they are illegal and I would not condone them.
