Can you cut it out?? Unfortunately any chemical that use on the rug may cause the rug to fade and discolor over time. I used a chemical called clean and clear on my rug that removed a black tar stain, it was wonderful at first but over time it began to fade in that spot... now I have a giant light pink blob on my mauve rug! So be very careful with all cleaning solutions and really read the bottles. Also try going to homedepot or Lowe's and see what they sell or offer.
