I have the same problem(for pretty much my whole life)...with me, it is just a quick drop in blood pressure, I have been to the doctors, they say just get up slower. If is something brand new, I would definitely get checked by a doctor, it got worse for me when I was pregnant.

Being dizzy is normal especially if you get up quickly from a sitting position. However, if it is more than that you may want to see a doctor to rule out increased blood pressure which could be a sign of something more serious. I'd call your doctor.

Yes, it happens a lot to me. Or at least, USED to, before I realized it was because I wasn't eating enough. I had a tiny anorexic sort of problem before, had the same dizziness you described, yet it stopped right when I started eating more! What a relief. Sometimes I would stagger around and nearly fall over just because I'd stand up... ;) But anyway, make sure you're eating right, and with maybe a bit more sugar intake and go s-l-o-w-l-y the next time you have to stand up, okay? Hope this helped! =)

First drink some water. It's possible that your are either really dehydrated, your blood pressure might be high or possibly have an inner ear infection. Try the water first. After a few glasses and a little time, if you still don't feel better, call your doctor.

It's probably because your blood pressure is dropping- there is a term for it, but can't think of it at the moment- I had it when I was pregnant. Go see your doc if you are concerned.

do you have low blood pressure it happens to my sister because she has low blood pressure or low iron in your blood. Check with your Doctor also if your pregnant it can have the same effect not saying you are but that is another reason.
