Both expect something for nothing.

Employers want to pay the least amount of money and offer the least amount of benifits to entery level positions. This way they can keep employees and use them and hope they move on before they move up the ladder . This is to make more money for the company. In the past wages were based more on the economy. Try living on a minimum wage job with little or no benefits. You can not do it.

Employees want to be paid the most , but work the least. They do not care about the companies and employers because most times they are faceless names. The owner of the company does not involve himself or herself in the companies and talk to the little man as in the past.

Both have changed
