this stupid ad pops up 30 time a day and tries to install. there i am on the internet and BANG! i have lost my page because it has gone to this advert and i can't press the back button and i have to tell it not to install 3 times every time i do it brings up a new page and i have norton so there is NO way im am every going to get this. norton discovers it as WINfixer but it can't get rid of it i have paniware popup blocker but that does not stop it? can someone find me a simple spyware software or anything i also have AVG as a back up

I did use Ad Aware... And eventually it worked ( or one of the other 10 antivirus and other patches I tried...) But I have to say Winthingy is hard to remove... Good luck

Find it in your program files.DELETE IT. It's a Bugger to find, but once you do and delete it that'll solve problem. Ihad it but found it eventually and deleted it.All ok now. Good Luck!!!

use the yahoo homepage...and install the free poop-up blocker... it will solve your problem...also add remove programmes, and do a search on your pc to find it and remove it........
