You want true sadness? Go visit a nursing home where the majority of the people there have been forgotten by there families. That's sadness. Go to a homeless shelter, where mothers with children are sitting there in dirty clothes because they have no home. That's sadness. Go to the waiting room of a children's hospital and take a look at the mom's and dad's who have just been told that their child has a serious disease that probably won't be cured. That's sadness. The fact is that most people have a selfish sadness. They are sad because they can't afford the latest, something didn't go exactly the way they wanted it to go, or they didn't get the promotion they wanted, making $200,000 a year instead of $185,000. When we step outside of our seemingly sad world and into one that truly is sad, it makes you think twice. It makes you thankful for all that you do have. Do something for someone who is truly sad and watch them smile for the first time in a long time, and I guarantee you'll forget how sad you feel.

This is a tough one but I have experienced it and the best way to overcome it for me was to go for a walk...maybe you will run into someone on the walk that will help you to see things in a different light. I tend to be a happy person normally but have had my own times of being sad and not always understanding where it came from. God may allow this to happen to help us to see and feel things to help us grow as individuals. Then some times we just need to let the sadness happen and before long we get tired of being sad and start seeing things that make us feel better and slowly get over being sad. Then we look back and try to see what caused the sadness in the first place. Just know that the sadness will pass but try to get out and smell the fresh air, look at the beautiful sky, see the flowers and trees, miracles are all around and we take them for granted when they are God's mysteries that He placed here for us to enjoy. Give yourself time and the rest will come...

What an interesting questing!! Cure for sadness,I'm not sure if there is a cure,You have to be the one to find out what makes you happy and go in that direction,Turn it around and let it work for you not against you..Happiness is the hardest thing to find true happiness is even harder,, Just keep looking and enjoy it when it comes your way..Watching a baby smile, listening to good music. or doing special things for special people(my favorite). saddness is a terrible thing and very hard to shake away.. Bless you and Good Luck.. Most of us have been there and we keep hoping for better...

Coming to know Jesus Christ'
And understanding it is demons who are suppressing us
Holy Water is a great grace
use it always
Bless yourself quite often
in the name of the Father & of The Son & Of The Holy Spirit
Amen
We are suppressed people
and we need to come to the understanding that
there are many demons that suppress us
Bind them in Jesus Name amen
and cast them back into hell
from where they have come

Things have curse atttached to themself.
we live in a world full of many things
in which we obtain from many places, including yardsales
and second hand stores as well as Any shopping mart.

People who make things have curses attached to them
for instance there are many children worldwide in sweat shops
making everything from clothing to toys that are suppressed
and are forced to work under terrible conditions. Their hate is passed on and placed upon the items they are hating because they are so over woked and unkindly treated they unknowingly are placing curse because of inward emotions upon things

We must come to understand this great sadness
of depression and recognise what we can do.
At first I thought this was a very stupid remark.
But then I decided to take holywater and bless everything in my house
InThe name of The Father Son & Holy Spirit
I bless items that may have had curses attached that I knew nothing of.

Soon without realizing things I began to feel better.
I placed holywater in a spray bottle and spray my home
almost everyday or when I think of it.
demons hate it and they do flee.

I have blessed salt at the entry of my door
so that demons flee
for they do attach themselves to people.

Prayer is the answer it truly is and also coming to understand the nature of supressing spirits and the curses that are attached to them

There is a book called curses and how to break them.

The choices and preceptions that create or destroy our happines are all a product of our mental state. Once our basic needs for food clothing and
shelter are met, we are left with a simple premis. We don't need more money, we don't need success, greater fame, we don't need perfect body or
even a perfect mate. Right now at this very moment we have a mind. Which is all the basic equipment we need to achive complete happiness.

"In everyday experiences, if there are certain types of events which you do not desire, than the best way of accomplishing that, is to make sure
that the causal conditions which normaly give rise to that event, no longer arrise. Similary, If you want a particular event or experience to occur,
the logical thing to do is to seek and accumilate the causes and conditions which would give rise to it. If we are seeking happiness we need to clearly
identlify different mental states and make a destinction. Classifying them according to weather they lead to happines or not. For instance hatered,
jelousy, anger; are harmfull. They destroy our mental happines. Once you have the feelings of hatered or ill feeding tward some one, Once you youself

It depends, if you are sad and dont know why you should see a psychiatrist, if you feel like harming yourself then you should go to an Emergency Room and then you will see a psychiatrist and get counseling and most likely meds. Its normal to go through some phases in life with some sadness, but its persistant then you need proffesional help.

Trusting your own emotions. Work through the sadness and learn from it by not allowing yourself to fall into it again, if possible. Remember there is nobody like you and revel in your uniqueness and have peace with that. If you want feedback..grab your friends and have fun for like other's have answered..laughter is a great bit of self-help medicine!

There is no cure per se, but you can alter your mood.

Turn on some fast music that you like and DANCE. It's hard to stay in a bad mood when you get your body moving like that.

Aerobic activity has been proven to be one of the quickest and easiest mood lifters.

Animal therapy (spending time with a pet) also helps... while finding a passion (hobby or past time that you can completely throw yourself into giving a new feeling of purpose and enthusiasm for life) also does wonders for the mind and soul.
