I guess its bcuz... if its the unknown, it means anythin could happen...in relationships you´d be scared that things will change and you´ll stop feelin the happy feeling you are havin while still in the relationship. And as a kid, we´ve got these huge imaginations and things like monster in the closests scare us cuz we think they´re gonna eat us lol...but as we get older, we stop believin in those monsters, and start becomin scared of the bad things that happen in the real world....all we´ve done is made our fears a lil more realistic..but i mean its always sorta there, isnt it..maybe if the world was a perfect place we wouldnt be so worried all the time. So, im not really sure...maybe, in a way, its a good thing cuz it makes us that much more cautious, and we make better descions for it?...but then again, sometimes things like the fear of rejection keep us away from askin out someone who could potencially be the girl or guy we´ve been lookin for all our lives. Fear is funny that way. I guess, its all about moderation...and knowin when to listen to that cautious voice in your head and knowing when to trust your instincts and to just go with it. This is more of a thought, than a clear answer....but i hope it helps. :)

It's a basic survival mechanism. It makes you more cautious and therefore less likely to put your life in danger. Fear also bonds people, making a tighter unit. It can also be a powerful way to control a group and thus, again, making it stronger. As for relationships pain though learning how to cope with other people allows us to become more emotionally mature, but it's still scary.

We like to be able to plan to how we are going to react in different situations. Thing's unknown leaves us vunerable as we don't have a planned method to handle the situation. Anything could happen and that is what scares us.

I guess that it is just the feeling of insecurity and trying to protect ourselves from being hurt. However we can never escape the dangers of being hurt.

People don't know what will happen to them as to the same as we don't know our future. If we know what will happen in the future, we wouldn't be afraid, right?

Not knowing what it is, scares them.
Everyone wants to know everything, so when we don't know, we expect the worst.
