It totally depends on what you are interested in and what your career plans are. Usually the first two years of college are oriented to give a student a wide survey of many fields of study, people who might have entered college interested in one area find themselves drawn to another. If you want to be a lawyer or a doctor or another professional, specific undergrad preparatory courses are required so talk to a counselor and check requirements in the university catalogs. Enjoy!

Business administration. Accountants make more money than Engineers without even half the effort. In Business you can go into marketing (the place were bad engineers end up).
Engineering is a good college major, but the amount of effort does not equal the reward by a long shot.

There are many good majors to choose from, but it is hard to pick the very best. I definitely believe that a major which can be used in several fields is the best choice. For instance, English (my major) is applicable in many fields. As is Business Administration.

Accounting... if you need to go to school, then probably you have a need of having a good job in the future. And your goal of having a good job just means you need to earn. With accounting, you can do frauds and everything else that deals with money. Just an advice.

One that will lead you to a job that will pay a good salary. It may be wonderful to study something that you love, but if you can't get a job and support yourself and your family, then that subject should just be your hobby.
