If you want to use it for what it was designed for primarily - yahoo instant messenger, aol instant messenger and internet surfing then the answer is NO. The Sidekick3 was designed to run EXCLUSIVELY with the T Mobile network for those functions to work properly.

If you want to use it for the BASIC functions - making and receiving telephone calls and possibly text messaging then the answer would be YES.

From all the information I've seen on the various mobile phone forums it's almost impossible to ge the Sidekick3 to work properly on any other networks besides T Mobile. If you don't want to put forth the necessary effort to get it to work and there will be plenty of effort to do so then DON'T DO IT.
