NDP MP's from Ontario touring the rubble of Lebanon, talking with local leaders (and who are probably Hezbollah), saying they are ashamed of being Canadian because Stephen Harper is backing Israel. The NDP MP's, which are not even in the governing party, travelling to Lebanon on taxpayers money to denounce Israel as a state terrorist.
I almost threw my dinner plate through the TV. What do you think?

I think they should also tour Israel and put that on TV.
Oh yes, there were Liberal and Bloc MPs making similar comments. Yes, war is tragic. But let them have a look at what Hezbollah has done before they take a partisan stance.

They are hypocrites , but which political party isn't. Either way , just because they are not the ruling party, doesn't mean they don't have a say. Plus Harpers' got a minority govt, so he needs all the support he can get in the House of Commons.
The only reason why he is backing Israel is because of the States. Harper needs to keep his bread and butter.

As political leaders, they shouldn't be running off at the mouth of being ashamed of their citizenship whether or not they agree with Harper or not. As a Canadian, there is lots I don't agree with in regards to how our politicians run amok on our hard-earned money, but they are still our leaders and we are the ones who put them in power. Also, there's no way 100% of Canadians or our politicians are going to agree on anything. As for the NDP's (whom I've never voted for, nor do I plan on it in this lifetime), if they are that ashamed of being Canadian, maybe they should step down as political leaders and let someone in that is true to their roots and heritage.

I don't think any one from the govern should say anything, did these people go to school ,why don't they take our money and go on a year long voc . they just work two week out of a year,can they do what they say they are going to do at lest , we give them all our money, thank you i needed to get that out of my head
