I didn't complain about him when the prices were going up so why should I thank him when the prices are going down. What control does he have on oil prices anyway? Prices are basically set by world situations and futures market.

The answer below by the DEPY GREECE person is the prime example why the war in Iraq is not over .People like that try to undermine ; interfere, and side with terrorists . President Bush didn't raise the gas prices , nor lower them. It's simply not up to him .
With democratic party leaders giving aid & comfort to the enemy-it was a given that their following would do the same .They are showing themselves to be the traitors they really are-with remarks which thank terrorist murderers for anything !

Bush should be impeached in the first place, for lying to the American nation, and forcing the entire nation to a war, that has no end. he so called weapons of Mass deception were never found, and many innocent American, and Iraqi lives are lost forever. As far the gas prices are concerned, they are hurting the working class, and even if they come down by few pniies or dimes, the president had already done a lots of damage to the American image abroad and at home. He will not leave any legacy behind.

President Bush has nothing to do with it either way it goes. There are people who would put him down if it went to 13 cents a gallon. Big oil companies are to blame. I never buy Exxon gas. They are the main gougers. When Cliton was pres. I blamed it on him when gas prices went up,and as much as I despise the man it wasn't his fault.

Have you noticed that when the president talks he twists his mouth which makes it seem that he's talking out the side of his mouth. I know it sounds like he's talking out the side of his mouth. As for lower gas prices, I think he had no say in that but the oil companies could gage the unsettling opinions of the average consumer and that might have possibly contributed to the price of gas going down for the moment and not the president........

properly the Bush kinfolk has made a lot of their money off of gas and oil so why could they care what the expenses are. The extra we pay the extra money is going of their wallet. As for Congress....I doubt if very a lot of them pay for his or her own gas or perhaps with in the journey that they do i am going to guess given the commencing earnings for a Congressman they could have the funds for it more effective than you or i am going to. the truth of the remember is there is something we can do about it even with the undeniable fact that it includes taking some action on our section. those jokers artwork for us. Write your congressman/lady and ask them what in certain they're doing to carry expenses down. in the journey that they don't grant you with the answer you want then commence operating to have them voted out of workplace contained in the subsequent election. "Of the persons and for the persons" this concept has been forgotten through our elected officials. a lot of them have their hand so deep in lobbiest's wallet it really is a ask your self something receives executed in Washington to commence with. the entire equipment is damaged and we are continuously given a similar type of massive talk and do not something politicians to vote for.

Is this a trick question? What action did Bush take with rise in gas prices? Took a vacation as usual. To believe he did anything to lower gas prices is joke.

I don't think he should have been blamed for the prices going higher, so I don't think we should thank them for going lower.

He didn't cause either event to happen.

Yes,

If you have criticised him when the prices soared, then it is your duty to thank him, when the prices are going southwards.
