Madam Butterfly
these are the ones that seem to be performed the most, and they are all wonderful, but there are many others:
Die Valkyr (The Valkyrie)
The Rest of Wagner's Ring Cycle
almost any Puccini, Verdi, or Mozart
Tristan and Idoldt

It's not really an opera but a musical. I liked Fiddler on the Roof. I saw it live at the Fox Theater in Detroit.
The people who put it on where very talented. They were the same people that did the movie.

Anything by, Puccini, Verdi, or Mozart.
La Boheme and La Traviata seem to get more stage time than many others,,, and Aida, is another I've enjoyed.
