what i think . south Africa will not win but would come out in 5th place. good luck.

It will be like every other world cup a success however i dont think south africa should be holding the world cup. It should have been in England in 2010 somewhere where theyve been playing the game for a bit longer than 10 minutes. by the way the holders have to qualify now. Brazil had to qualify for Germany 2006

You'll manage, I'm sure! But I think that all World cups should be held in England as well as all Olympic games in Greece; these places are the birthplaces of these great events, and truly deserve that. Besides, the climate is perfectly suitable. Though many may not agree...

not knowing the groups, i already think they can make it to the round of 16. Because every host nation does well in the world cup (look at japan and korea in 02 not big names but still made it)

Put a replica on display and keep the real trophy locked in a very secure bank vault. They don't want to get into the sort of trouble England got into in 1966!

Host nations have a tendecy to do well in the finals.
so they could maybe reach the 2nd round or quarter final
But will the stadiums be ready in time that is the worry

hopefully all the spectators will not be car jacked on the way to the stadium, or have rocks thrown off bridges at them, or be mugged/shot/robbed etc. I don't think your country has the infrastructure in place to make this event a success.

not good at all. the only reason you are doing it is so you can say we are in the world cup. you see the host country and the champions are the only ones who get a bye into the tournament.

So many things could happen in the next four years. All I know so far is that they will play, being the host nation.
