Well only in the fact that he is better than Ramon Santiago and will provide a little depth. Plus he's got a solid glove. Hopefully Polanco will be back by the end of Sept. BTW Rod Allen rules!!

Neifi Perez is one of the worst hitters in baseball history, and easily the worst of our generation. Thankfully, the Tigers don't really need another bat in that potent lineup. Neifi's glove should help them. He's not great in the field, but he's a steady guy who won't make many mistakes.

It's not like they're trying to replace Ordonez - just Polanco, a guy with a staggeringly poor .684 OPS who walks about once every 25 times at the plate. So just expect more of the same, but worse.

No, start taking your prozac now because the Tigers are about to choke away this thing to the Twins or White Sox, c'mon, how can you lose a series to the Rangers of all people, the young arms are dying fast, but you can thank the Red Sox for sucking worse than the Tigers have lately because you might back into the wild card.

Neifi is a good role player. He can start for a while and play well. The Tigers did okay.

I never thought I'd see "Neifi Perez" and "help us" in the same sentence, unless "us" was referring to the Rockies. He's a terrible player, and he won't help one bit.

What, that loser?

You know a guy sucks when even the cubs don't want him. And the cubs suck.

He didn't help the cubs against the sox, so what makes you think he'll help the Tigers?

He is better than Ramon Santiago, who got sent down, so I will say yes.
Will he be a great player? Probably not. But servicable at best.
