it's called trust. Are the two of you in love? If so, then he shouldn't. If he is in the armed forces, he is probably more concerned about you cheating on him. Write him and be there when he calls, if he is cheating he will stop calling and stop writing back (provided he does that now) and be disinterested in you when he returns.
But the short answer is you won't know.

Hmmmm... you dont trust your bf that much? Why you could use a chastity belt( but thats only for female who knows theres male version of that belt). Theres not so much temptation in S.A., life there is a boring one. No wonder the locals go somewhere for fun.

It's a trust thing. You must have confidence in the fact that he loves you and will do nothing to harm you. If you can't do that, you will have problems; the distrust will tear you apart since you can neither confirm or deny your suspicions, and it will linger over your relationship until it smothers it to death.
The question is, and has always been, "Do you trust him?".

there isn't really anything you can do. you can't catch a plane over there and watch him like a hawk for 24 ghours a day! if you love and care about him, trust his judgement and trust him not to screw up a good relationship. perhaps you may be feeling insecure about your relationship and feel that it isn't strong enoough to survive. if you do, then perhaps it's time for you to exit stage left!
