1. The kid is actually 6'8'' 256.
2. He played in the series last year so his documents have gone through the ringer twice so my guess is either they have good fakes or he is 13.
3. The real stud on this team is the 5'8'' 226 lb kid who pitched the first game and has 2 homers already.
4. All these but two of the kids are Americans working for an Oil Company in Saudi Arabia.

Yeah I saw that the Saudi Arabia team had a kid that was 6' 9" and also a kid that was 6' 3". Both of them played in the Little League World Series last year in 2005. The thing is, the 2 really tall kids cant hit so it really doesnt matter. And they also cant throw hard when they pitch so their is nothing to worry about. They are allowed to be playing again because of the new cutoff date for baseball. It was originally July 31 but they changed it to April 31st. So players with birthdays in May, June and July can play a 3rd year of Little League. And they also checked their birth certificates millions of times to make sure they are young enough to play.

i know, they are huge, i mean, the pitcher was like 6'3" and the 1st baseman was even taller. i felt bad for the people who had to go up against a pitcher that big. expecially the one batter who was only 5'1". and one of the kids there are really lucky cuz they have been onthe same team and gone to PA 3 years in a row because they changed the age limit. but it is hard to believe that those kids are only 13 or 12. its crazy. but they play good ball.

look, i live on the same american oil compound in Saudi as most of those boys and i can confirm that nothing fishy is going on .. lol. none of the boys are actually arab either so that comment about arabs being tall is baseless. they're all american, most were born in the states and moved to saudi and some were born in saudi, but none of them actually ARE saudi. as for the tall kids, the tallest dude aaron durley is actually 13, he used to be my height (5"5) when he was in 5th grade and i was in 9th! as for the kid who's 6"3, he's going into the 7th grade and is friends with my little sister. i can assure you he's actually 12!

I know right. That was insane. I can't believe that kid who was 6'6. I mean There's got to be a Birth certificate the league has so I guess it's okay but still amazing? Anybody remember Danny Almante? He was 16 when he played in the little league world series and got busted

I saw that, also. That was crazy!!!!!! The first baseman wasn't 6'6, he was 6'8!!!! In the first game they played, the ESPN announcers compared him to Shaquille O'Neal and the first baseman was 2 inches taller then him!!!! And the first baseman is 2 inches shorter then Randy Johnson!!! Yeah, how could those kids be 13? Absolutley crazy!!!!!!!!!

Well they are not arabs. These kids are Americans whose parents work over in Saudi Arabia.

I have been surfing more than two hours today looking for answers to the same question, but I haven't found any interesting discussion like this. It is pretty worth enough for me.

With the amount of scrutiny these players documents go through, they are legitimate league age. Just big kids.
